Keep in mind that dogs and cats have a much stronger sense of smell than humans. Therefore, if you have pets at home, we recommend that you use the timer setting on your diffuser and let it run for a maximum of 1 hour at a time, twice a day.
You may also want to consider not using too much essential oil. As I said, dogs and cats have a better sense of smell and can detect scents more strongly than humans!
Also, make sure that the diffuser is not placed right next to your pet's sleeping area. Scents from the essential oil end up to some extent around the machine itself.
Also, make sure your pet can always get to a room where there is no diffuser running, so they can walk away if they don't like the smell.
Among the oils in the Evoroma range, oregano should not be used if you have a dog or cat. Citrus oils should be avoided if you have a cat.
Three oils that are considered completely safe for both cats and dogs are lavender, chamomile and frankincense.
Never use any essential oils directly on your pet's fur.
